For many of us, September means that not only is summer officially over, but it is also a reminder of that often dreaded announcement of our childhood: Back to School!
For guidance counselors and college advisors, September means diving back into the realm of preparing students for the journey that awaits many of them after they graduate. It’s an exciting and sometimes stressful time, and it helps to have resources.
Testive has made its mark helping students prep smarter for the SAT & ACT with the use of cutting edge software developed at MIT, and 1-on-1 coaching by a team of coaches who scored in the top 1% on both exams. This blended approach of technology and human interaction has helped students on average gain 150 points on the SAT and 3 points on the ACT. Both parents and students laud Testive’s flexible scheduling, accessible software, and results-driven model.
But students and parents aren’t the only ones that have applauded our program. We’ve recently launched a school partnership program and are in the process of meeting with guidance counselors and college admissions advisors to recommend strong alternatives for group-level prep. I’ve been hired to lead this charge to help schools build effective prep programs that can work for both small or large groups of students. I’ll also be attending the National Association for College Admissions Counselors (NACAC) annual conference in San Diego from October 1 – 3 with other memebers of the Testive team. If you happen to be there, come on by our booth and I’ll be happy to talk to you more about school programs and Testive’s amazing prep strategies!
