Hi! My name is Ally Steward.

I’m a Student Success Advisor at Testive and your resident guide for university admissions. In this series, I will be summarizing key information regarding one college or university to give you an idea of some things students may want to take into consideration when thinking about which schools to apply to.

Some of these schools might be on the very top of your student’s list, and some might not be on their radar at all. My goal is to provide you with key information to shine a light on a variety of institutions to help you and your student find the college that’s best for them.

This week, let’s take a look at MIT!

Here’s how MIT describes themselves:

The mission of the Massachusetts Institute of Technology is to advance knowledge and educate students in science, technology, and other areas of scholarship that will best serve the nation and the world in the 21st century. We are also driven to bring knowledge to bear on the world’s great challenges.”
